The State Budget proposal failed, but even if the country is governed in twelfths, pensions could benefit from increases in 2022, as long as there is money for this. "If the regular update depends on the rise in inflation and assuming that there will be an increase, this update is even possible that it could happen", admits Raquel Caniço, a lawyer at Caniço Advogados.
